It seems like the ideological, religious, and political divide has become wider and wider in the last few years. Rather than disagreeing and having thoughtful conversations, people of all sides have decided to leave conversations they don’t agree with. Is this the way of Jesus? Should we let these differences divide us? Rebekah Lyons, author and podcast host, encourages us to become people of peace, bridging the divide and bringing unity among the body of Christ.

What can we do? It's the natural question after a disaster. Our hearts break for the hurting and the grieved. We want to reach out, to help. As citizens of planet earth, we are regularly and often confronted with the problem of pain, with the reality of human suffering. Natural disasters occur with increasing frequency and force. The number of slaves in the world lingers at an unacceptably high number. Abuse is in our churches. Children are dying. In this challenging talk from 2012, Diane Langberg argues that trauma is perhaps the most important place for service and mission in the 21st century.

In this talk from the 2013 Q Women and Calling event, Kathy Keller discusses the way that gender roles have misused in the past. The antidote has been to throw the whole idea away. Is this the correct response?  Keller argues that to reject our genders—as women and men—is to push away a great gift from God, given to us to reflect his nature more fully. The key to a fuller understanding of these ideas is an understanding of "ontological equality," which Keller explains in this clip.
