The Christian world is continually rocked by sexual abuse and harassment allegations against well-known people and organziations. What can we do to prevent these tragedies from occuring? Are theology, culture and policies causing these issues? And can we be a part of identifying solutions? Attorney and advocate Rachael Denhollander shares how we can create systems and structures that prevent abuse.

This interview was given at last year's Culture Summit. Interested in hearing more conversations like this? This year's event event is coming up quickly, April 28-29, 2022. Find out more on how you and your church can join us at qideas.org/2022

It's been almost 15 years since the book Culture Making released. In this interview with Andy Crouch and Sho Baraka, hosted by Grant Skeldon, they talk about what it looks like to create culture. Do the same rules still apply? How can we create in a way that keeps us relevant? Andy and Sho answer these questions in this week's episode.

In a world that rejects masculinity as toxic, what does it mean to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and his version of what it means to be a man? Brant Hansen, author of The Men We Need, reminds men and women alike of man's first role, to be keepers of the garden. He proposes a renewed vision of what it means to be a man in the 21st century and petitions all men to be ambitious about the right things.

Brant's book is the latest selection in the Q Ideas Book Tour series. Have questions for Brant? Submit them at qideas.org/booktour and also find additional resources.

In many ways, the events of the last year completely disrupted and upended our lives. It can be tempting, then, to try to merely endure or ignore this disruption. But instead, Danielle Strickland challenges us to see the disruption of this moment as an invitation and an opportunity for something greater. How will you respond?

This talk was given at The Culture Summit in 2021. If you want to hear more talks like these consider joining us as in-person, virtually, or with your church this April 28-29. Find out more at qideas.org/2022.

In this talk from the 2013 Q Women and Calling event, Kathy Keller discusses the way that gender roles have misused in the past. The antidote has been to throw the whole idea away. Is this the correct response?  Keller argues that to reject our genders—as women and men—is to push away a great gift from God, given to us to reflect his nature more fully. The key to a fuller understanding of these ideas is an understanding of "ontological equality," which Keller explains in this clip.
